Dakota and Kayla's love for BBQ started at a young age, inspired by the father figures in Dakota's life who found joy in grilling and smoking meats. This passion blossomed into a dedication to true, authentic Texas BBQ. The name "Shotgun Rider Sauce" is a tribute to Dakota's grandfather, a door gunner in Vietnam, who was affectionately known as a "Shotgun Rider."
